While we learnt that in life we all come with baggage we made sure to keep ours full of Fabric and plundered into one basic fabric Cotton. Like B B King says - “Cotton was a force of nature. There’s a poetry to it, hoeing and growing cotton.” This fluffy soft staple fibre grows in a case around the seeds of cotton plant, which is then spun into threads and yarns for bringing about the usable textile that we commonly refer to as ‘Cotton’. 

 

Even though this textile is used since the time we cannot recall, its widespread usage was pushed after the invention of Cotton gin which helped reduce the overall production cost; thereby becoming the only natural fibre used in the clothing industry.
